Videos

These will make more sense if you read the other post first.  Also, if you make it all the way though both posts, kudos...
Sorry for the quality, they were all taken with  my iPhone

A much needed update

I feel as if I haven't really had a reason to blog because nothing exciting has really happened, but then I see how many pictures I have taken and I realize, I am really really far behind! So here it goes, school ended, Alex graduated preschool and is set for kindergarten, Brayden for 2nd grade and Preston for preschool.(What?!) Preston also gave up his binky, (YAY!!) sleeping at nap time (SAD!), and is almost potty trained :):)

We borrowed a dog for a weekend, fell in love, gave her back, then our wonderful friends told us we could have her if we wanted. So, we finally have a girl, her name is Ruby :) We have basically been running nonstop all summer, sprinklers, water fights, splash park, beach, our friends with pools take pity on us, parks, fireworks, lots of bike riding. Alex just picked up a 2 wheeler one day and rode it, it was crazy! Lots a play dates, and to the boys dismay, chores and school work.

Grandma Tamblyn came for a week and a half and she worked us to the bone!! We put a ceiling up in our basement, finished a flower bed in the front yard, cleaned out the garage, fixed the garage door, and grandma made Brayden a quilt and curtains for his room.

Brandon finished another movie, Ice Age Continental Drift. We were able to go to the city for the premiere. A huge thank you to our friends the Millard's who watched our kids for 12 hours so we could go!! We were able to bring part of their family with us to the friends and family screening also. So that is it so far... now as promised, lots and lots of pictures in very random order...
 Getting ready for a race
Alex got Skylanders (XBOX game) for his birthday and insisted on playing 2 players by himself

Preston and his good friend Fiona. They remind me so much of Brayden and his friend Emma when they were about 3 :)
This was right after we sent Ruby home the weekend we borrowed her, they were so sad to see her go!

Ruby is seriously obsessed with faces.  She loves to sit on them!
 Miss Sarah, seriously the.best.preschool.teacher.ever!!!!
 Alex on graduation day

Just had to document this historic day where preston actually slept, in a store.  He fell asleep in the cart so I picked him up and carried him
In the good old days when he still had a binky, and still slept.  He didn't even wake up for Ruby
 Seriously feeling the spirit ;)
Brayden had a stomach bug and Ruby didn't leave his side all day

 Basement before ceiling
 After, but with no paint
Alex got really hurt, I don't remember how, but I told him to lay on my bed for a few minutes and he slept for and hour and a half!
 LOVE THEM!!

Building a fort for their friend Abigail
Finally convinced Brandon that going to see fireworks would be fun.  It's a good thing I was right or I might never be able to convince him again :)

Before we started potty training, Preston would go in the sunroom and hide to "do his business", but since our sunroom doesn't have A/C it's too hot.  This was his make shift hiding place. I laughed so hard!

 Where's Ruby?
Friends and family screening of Ice Age Continental Drift

 Heaven!!
We found a frog at the park :)
Proof they love each other :)

Random Part 2

We really haven't been up to a whole lot.  Between Brandon's crunch time and school for the boys, we aren't left with a lot of free time.  So here are a whole lot of random videos and pictures, because my kids are growing up way too fast, and I can't make them stop :)

A whole bunch of RANDOM

Preston

Good morning Mom! I was looking at my Happy book tonight and I thought I would surprise you with some new pictures:)
While Brayden and Alex are at school I have 3 hours with Preston all to myself.  I have really loved having alone time with him, but unlike his brothers, he doesn't like to do anything by himself.  He won't play by himself, or watch TV by himself, or even eat by himself.  Which means, I don't get to do anything by myself either.  He is either making me laugh or making me want to scream! It is a good thing he is so cute!!!

These pictures were both taken yesterday, Preston was especially mischievous.
Preston was still in his pajamas, but he put on his shoes by himself, and he put his coat on himself, made me zip it.  Then he got a backpack, he made me put a lunch in it for him, then he said good bye to everyone and went outside to wait for Brayden's bus. He insisted he was going to go to school.
Brandon asked me to make some cookies for someone in his office, and while I was putting them together Preston was such a helper and completely emptied my cupboard.  Nice right?  I actually didn't really notice what he was doing until he threw a can at me.

I was going to take pictures the rest of the day to show what it was like, but my phone died, and he broke my camera...
But to give you an idea, these are the things he usually does while it's just us hanging out; he climbs on the counter and gets into the marshmallows, graham crackers, popcorn, pretzels, chocolate chips, juice, pudding, or whatever else I left in an unlocked cupboard. He gets lots of cheese sticks out of the fridge, he dumps out puzzles, games, toy boxes, crayons, markers, or whatever else Brayden left out.  I really didn't think I could have a more crazy kid than Alex, but...Preston has him beat!!!  He always makes it up to me, he loves me the most :)
